Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, is a city known for its picturesque canals, historic architecture, and vibrant cycling culture. Home to the famous Tivoli Gardens—one of the oldest amusement parks in the world that even inspired Walt Disney—it offers a mix of history and entertainment. Its iconic Nyhavn district, with colorful waterfront buildings and a lively atmosphere, attracts visitors from around the world. Another must-see is the famous Little Mermaid statue, inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s beloved fairy tale. Committed to sustainability, Copenhagen is on track to become the world’s first carbon-neutral capital by 2025, making it a model for green urban living.
We are happy to share that this year our Danish colleagues will host the SIOPEN Annual General Meeting 2025 in Copenhagen, bringing together experts dedicated to advancing research on neuroblastoma

SOCIAL VENT: Boat Tour, 'Bubbles' and Informal Standing Dinner
At 6:00 PM, you'll be picked up from the conference venue, and we will begin with a guided canal tour around Copenhagen. The tour will end at Nyhavn, one of Copenhagen's most iconic spots. From there, we will take a short walk through the city center to the Cinematheque restaurant. Cinematheque is a film cultural center that focuses on the art and history of cinema and houses three theaters. We will start with snacks and drinks on the rooftop, followed by a standing buffet dinner in the main restaurant.
Practical Information:
Remember to bring warm clothing – Danish autumn can be chilly.
The boat tour lasts about 45-60 minutes, and the boats are partially covered.
Cinematheque is within walking distance of most hotels.
We expect the dinner to end around 11:00 PM.
